ATLANTA, Ga. – After receiving 12 Pinocchios from the Washington Post’s Fact Checker in one month alone for blatant lies, Nikki Haley’s credibility rating isn’t getting any better. Today, Nikki’s false statements about Governor DeSantis’ record on China are getting torched online for distorting the truth:
“Nikki Haley distorts Ron DeSantis’ Chinese recruitment record in Florida“
“PolitiFact did not find any government reports or news stories that show Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis recruited Chinese companies to the state in the last six months. Haley’s campaign team even failed miserably at an attempt to find anything close to the truth, blaming Governor DeSantis for events that happened before he took office:
“Haley’s team cited two Chinese companies operating in Florida. JinkoSolar entered the Florida market in 2018, before DeSantis took office. We found no evidence that DeSantis lined up state incentives to aid the companies’ projects. We rate Haley’s claim False.”
Unfortunately for Haley and her campaign, this is just the latest example of false statements causing her integrity to collapse. Recent examples include:
