Ad contrasts DeSantis’ history of fighting for our country’s freedoms and winning with his competition
ATLANTA, Ga. – Never Back Down has launched a new ad, “One Man,” running in Iowa and New Hampshire, along with National Fox News and Newsmax. The ad highlights Governor Ron DeSantis’ humble history of working hard to put himself through college, serving our country in the Navy, fighting for our freedoms against the bureaucracy, and winning re-election just like he’ll win against Joe Biden.
The Governor’s successful record stands in stark contrast to that of his competition in the GOP primary who’s failed to do any of what DeSantis has done. “One man won historic re-election, and one did not. One man is the right man to defeat Joe Biden. Ron DeSantis,” the ad states.
The new ad builds off of a larger theme playing out in the GOP primary: voters are increasingly leaving Donald Trump, and they know Gov. DeSantis is the “one man” who will fight for them and beat Biden. In Iowa alone, at least 48 former grassroots supporters of Donald Trump in 2016 and 2020 have now flipped to supporting Gov. DeSantis for President, including current and former state legislators, faith leaders, agriculture leaders, veterans, concerned parents, and grassroots activists.
